7" Painted Tulip Wood Bowl 1
£30.00 Sold out
Tulip Wood has been grown as an ornamental in the UK since the 17th century.
This bowl is made from a Tulip tree that grew in a garden in Carbis Bay near St Ives.
The wood has a long history of use in woodenware and dugout canoes amongst the native tribes of North America and was even used to line wells as it is odourless, clean and resistant to water.
Painted with extremely hard waring, natural milk paint and sealed with raw cold pressed flaxseed oil.
