I first made one of these boards for my own kitchen and was pleased with the length, it's possible to cut several pieces of veg etc without needing to clear the board. ( inches was plenty wide enough and as a bonus it doesn't take up too much room on the work surface. Even better you can hang it to store.
Protected for everyday use with raw flaxseed oil.
