Dimensions: 10 cm diameter
Material: Spalted beech
Finish: Deep sea green milk paint and raw flaxseed oil

This small dish, carved from spalted beech, alludes to the essence of coastal beauty. The interior features a ripple texture, reminiscent of gentle waves caressing the shoreline, and is painted a deep sea green to reflect the ocean’s ever-changing hues. A natural crack has been repaired with a beaten sheet of copper, patinated in seawater and stitched with copper wire, honouring the Japanese art of kintsugi, which finds beauty in imperfection.

"Morasow Byghan" serves as a functional piece and a tribute to nature’s resilience.
