1 to 1 Woodturning Tuition - 3 Day Masterclass
£695.00
Three unhurried days at the lathe exploring a full progression of turning and finishing skills - from shaping green wood to refining delicate details and carved forms.
Each day builds on the last, with time to slow down, learn through making, and develop confidence in both technique and design.
Day 1 focuses on the fundamentals: turning a green-wood bowl, then experimenting with surface finishes using milk paint, burnishing and wax.
Day 2 moves into end-grain turning, creating a small jug and carving its spout, followed by an afternoon exploring colour and texture on a pre-turned piece.
Day 3 brings the skills together in a butter dish - turning the base and lid, carving surface texture, and shaping a handle fixed with a wedged through-tenon.
You’ll leave with a set of three finished pieces - bowl, jug, and butter dish - each one a record of learning, process, and discovery.
