1 to 1 Woodturning Tuition - Beginner Bowl Making
£275.00 Coming soon

A quiet day at the lathe, learning to turn a bowl from freshly cut green wood.
This one-to-one course moves at your pace - a full day to understand the rhythm of turning, from preparing the blank to shaping, hollowing and finishing.
You’ll make one bowl entirely yourself, guided through every stage of the process. Then, using one of my pre-turned bowls, you’ll explore finishing techniques such as milk paint, burnishing and waxing - discovering how layers of texture and colour can bring depth and character to a piece.
At the end of the day, you’ll take home two bowls: one made by you, one decorated by you.
The aim is not perfection, but understanding - to leave with the confidence to continue turning and the satisfaction of having shaped something real from raw timber.
