17cm x 8cm (plus handle)
This copper-accented version of the Bosahan butter dish features a three-part build: a beech base, a green-turned sycamore lid with subtle wave, and a hand-carved beech handle fixed with an oak wedge.
The top is carved with a petal-like pattern, then highlighted with a ring of copper leaf — catching the light and connecting the piece to Cornwall’s deep mineral heritage. Available in either deep sea green or coastal turquoise, both painted with traditional milk paint and sealed with food-safe oil and Cornish beeswax.
Named after Bosahan — a peaceful, tree-lined corner of the Helford River — this piece balances function with quiet presence.
Each dish is unique in form, carving, and surface detail.
