Doom Bar Copperleaf Bowl

20cm x 4cm
A shallow, wide-rimmed bowl turned from green beech, then left to dry naturally — creating an organic wave in the rim, shaped by the wood’s own quiet shift over time.
Finished in coastal turquoise or deep sea green using traditional milk paint, and sealed with milk paint, raw linseed oil, and Cornish beeswax. Around the outer wall, a band of copper leaf catches the light — a nod to Cornwall’s mineral past and the shimmer of the estuary on a still day.
Named after the Doom Bar — the shifting sandbank where tides, currents, and weather meet at the mouth of the Camel Estuary — this bowl reflects those same elements: curve, surface, tension, and quiet force.
Each one is entirely unique in shape and surface, with a natural distortion that makes every bowl its own.
