21cm x 7cm

A hand-turned beech bowl designed for everyday use — pasta, stir fries, soups or stews — with a gently undulating rim that gives each one a unique, organic feel.

Turned while the wood was still green, then left to dry naturally, the bowl shifts shape slightly as it settles — creating a soft wave in the rim that’s shaped by time, not templates.

Available in two tone: muted coastal turquoise and sea-washed green, or classic teal both created using traditional milk paint, then finished with food-safe oils to protect the surface and let the grain breathe through.

Named after Pentire Point on the North Cornwall coast — a place of exposed edges and shifting light — this is a piece rooted in landscape and made for daily use.

Each bowl is slightly different in form and tone, shaped by hand and by the wood itself.
