Large Pentire Bowl - Teal

This larger Pentire Bowl is turned from spalted beech, where the natural lines and colour shifts formed in the wood create a distinctive pattern across the whole piece. Each bowl has its own markings shaped by the way the tree grew and changed, making every one unique.

At twenty two centimetres across, the bowl has a generous, open form suited to serving, shared dishes or everyday meals. The surface is finished with food grade hemp oil, which brings out the warm tones of the beech and leaves a smooth, practical finish for regular use.

The Pentire design keeps to a simple and balanced shape, allowing the character of the spalted wood to stand at the centre of the piece.
