The Penberth Bowl is a simple, everyday piece with a clean, open shape. At twenty centimetres across and four centimetres deep, it works well for smaller meals or serving at the table. The outside is finished in your signature blue milk paint, a non toxic and hard wearing surface that brings a subtle coastal feel to the form.
The rim and interior are left in natural beech, showing the warm tones of the wood. A coat of food grade hemp oil gives a smooth finish that is suited to regular use. The bowl keeps to a modest design with a shallow rise at the sides and a balanced curve, making it a practical companion for daily meals while holding the quiet character of its name.
